At 6275 yards this par 72 can argue its case as one of the best parkland challenges the area has to offer. The greens and fairways are maintained to the highest of standards and it is important that visitors try and keep the ball in play otherwise expect some tricky recoveries from the maturing trees and plant life.

About West Derby Golf Club

Location

Situated in suburban Liverpool by the town of Knowsley just off the A57.

Golf course

West Derby Golf Club was set up in 1896 by local residents intent on designing the first inland links course in the region. Since then the club has seen much adversity most recently the ravaging fire of 1930 causing the complete rebuild of the clubhouse. There is also a pro shop and restaurant onsite for your before and after game requirements.

Our view: West Derby Golf Club

An alternative yet still superbly manicured experience provided by England' golf coast. The course can be a touch tight at times but do not let this put you off booking a green fee at what is a complete treat.
