The Springs golf course is set in 133 acres of beautiful countryside. The course winds along the banks of the river Thames. This is encapsulated by the signature par 5 15th hole. The course measures 6470 yards, with a par of 72. The course features a double green and has an American style feel to it, with large bunkers and numerous lakes.

About The Springs Golf Club

Location

Between Reading and Oxford, close to Wallingford along the A4074.

Golf course

Designed by former Ryder Cup captain Brian Huggett, the golf club is part of a resort which has a hotel with 32 rooms. Tudor style country house was originally built in 1874. There is a wide range of facilities including a croquet lawn and outdoor swimming pool. The clubhouse has a friendly atmosphere and there is a fully stocked pro shop.

This attractive course offers and enjoyable round of golf. Make sure you stay clear of the strategically placed bunkers though.
