The course has been well-designed to utilize the natural contours of Pickeridge Hill and offers a good blend of interesting and challenging holes. One of the best on the course is the 233 yard par 3 on the fourteenth - players must try to stay right to avoid the out of bounds and large oak tree that protects the left side of the green. Although not a long course, Taunton & Pickeridge still provides a great test of golf for players at both ends of the golfing ability spectrum.
