Originally a Donald Steel design this Woodland par 71 course measures 6,251 yards. Offering some magnificent views across the Peak District this is a good test for golfers. Expect a climb as there are plenty of hills on offer. The signature hole comes at the 18th which is par 5 that dog legs around a fishing lake, a hole that can make or break a good round.

Shrigley, nr. Macclesfield, Cheshire. Within easy reach of the M6 and M56; just 15 mins from Manchester Airport.

Golf course

This is a woodland championship golf course located in 262 acres of Cheshire countryside. The club house is set in the 4* 19th century hotel that offers a great standard of service to all visitors. There are a variety of facilities on offer, including private dining for the society groups as well as practice areas and buggies.
