West Course (Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club)

Royal Ashdown’s West Course was first constructed as a nine-hole course in 1888. Since then the course has gone through several major developments culminating in 2004, when its own new clubhouse was opened and the course was reconfigured accordingly. Today the West Course is open to golfers and societies of all handicaps. While the Old Course glories in its heathland setting, the West Course is surrounded by lovely woodland albeit with ample heather. A championship course in its own right, today the challenge lies, not in length, but in the demand for accuracy and course management.

Old Course (Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club)

The Old Course has been used by the R&A as an Open Championship Regional Qualifying venue, hosted the international match between England and Spain in 2007 and the Senior Women's English Close Amateur Strokeplay Championship in 2009. In 2011 the course plays host to the Ladies' British Open Amateur Strokeplay Championship.
