Portlethen Golf Club is a Par 72 6,670 yard golf course that consists of two circuits of 9 holes, each returning to the clubhouse. The signature hole is the 15th which begins with a drive into the elbow of the dog-leg and then an approach from a down-hill lie to a green protected by the Findon Burn, which meanders through the course impacting on many of the holes on the front nine holes. Par 72, Yardage 6670. Parkland.

Situated 6 miles south of the City of Aberdeen, just off the A90.

Golf course

The golf club was founded in 1981, with the course opening eventually in 1989. It was designed by the world renowned Donald Steel. The clubhouse has the capacity to support social functions and dining events. Portlethen also has a large practice area, a driving range and a short hole pitching area.

Our view: Portlethen Golf Club

This is a well kept golf course that has had a lot of money put towards course maintenance and improving equipment and facilities. This unique golf club and the welcome from staff and members is known as ‘The Portlethen Experience’ and it will leave visitors with happy memories and ensure they return again for many years to come.
