A short 9-hole course with alternate tee’s to make for a different front and back 9. Accurate golfers are rewarded here as the fairways are narrow and some of the greens are small and difficult to pitch onto. The 7th hole par 340 yards is a prime example, precision is key from the tee shot so you don’t hit the 2 well placed bunkers on the fairway. If you miss them you then have to navigate onto a small green surrounded by bunkers. 18 Holes, Par 69, Yardage 6053. Parkland.

About Misterton Golf Club

Location

Located North West of Gainsborough, within easy access of the M180.

Golf course

Situated in the South Yorkshire countryside, this 9-hole course incorporates some well placed bunkers as well as a number of water hazards that come into play on several of the holes. Misterton is home to fantastic practice facilities including a driving range and putting areas allowing both beginners and regular golfers the opportunity to fine tune their golfing skills.

Our view: Misterton Golf Club

Golfers need to be accurate off the tee here with a river running along the right hand side of the already narrow fairways on the opening 5 holes, then out of bounds hugging the fairway on the last 4 holes. The alternative tees also mean that golfers can play 18 holes with a slightly altered front and back 9.
