Mouse Valley Course (Kames Country Golf Club)

The Mouse Valley championship golf course is a Par 68 and is one of the longest golf courses in Lanarkshire, measuring 6650 yards off the black tees. Club selection, course management and a good judgement of striking distances is required if golfers are to pass this fair and demanding test. Whatever your ability this golf course will prove a great challenge.

Kames Course (Kames Country Golf Club)

The Kames golf course is a shorter interesting 18 holes that still prove difficult due to small contoured greens. Although the Kames is only 3500 yards in length don’t be fooled in to thinking it’ll be easy as missing the fairway or green often results in losing your ball.

Golf course

Kames Country Golf Club is the premier golf facility in Lanarkshire with two 18-hole golf courses. The Mouse Valley championship golf course has been open since July 1993 and the shorter 18-hole Kames golf course was added in 1999. As well as two excellent golf courses the venue also has a driving range, indoor coaching centre and a well-stocked pro shop. With unrivalled facilities at the Kames Country Golf Club, golfers of all ages and abilities have the opportunity to improve their game through tuition, practice and play. The golf club also has a relaxing golf lounge and dining area.

Our view: Kames Country Golf Club

A superb venue with two testing golf courses, Kames Country Golf Club is definitely worth a visit. The Mouse Valley golf course is particularly enjoyable and the Par 3 14th named ‘oh dear’ is a personal favourite. A short hole at only 95 yards ‘oh dear’ will require a demanding tee shot in order to hit the elevated green and avoid the large ditch.
