Measuring 6,065 yards with a par of 71, Grange Over Sands Golf Club is a superb golf course set in an exceptionally picturesque location, designed by Dr Alistair MacKenzie. The fairways here are not so tight that the slightest of stray shots is gone, but several of the holes are lined with trees, meaning you have to keep you concentration, especially as there are several strategically placed hazards. It provides a cracking challenge for all golfers, with its undulating greens meaning approach shots must be well struck to score low. Its four par 3's are said to be some of the finest short holes in the area. The entire course is always very well maintained, with immaculate fairways, and it is playable all year round.
