Forest Course (Bramshaw Golf Club)

The original course, the Forest, is the oldest in Hampshire. It was built privately on New Forest heathland in about 1865 and became our course when the Club was formed in 1880. The ever-changing scenery of humps, hollows and meandering streams test golfing skills and judgement within an idyllic New Forest setting. Its open aspects and rolling heathland are in complete contrast to the Manor Course. The roaming ponies and deer add to the charm of the Forest Course, and many prefer to play it for its beauty and old-fashioned test of golfing skills. The prospect of a deer emerging from the trees or a mare and her foal on the fairway gives the Forest Course a special and unique appeal.

Located just 1 minute from the M27 within easy commuting reach of Bournemouth, Salisbury, Southampton, Winchester and Portsmouth.

Golf course

This is the oldest golf club in Hampshire and boasts two very different 18 hole courses: The Forest Course and the Manor Course. The Forest Course is the oldest course in the county, and the undulating layout and rolling heathland make for an enjoyable round. In contrast the Manor Course plays through the spectacular New Forest and is one of the most picturesque courses in the region.

The courses at this club present varying difficulties, offering a good challenge to golfers of all abilities. Both courses require a variety of shots types to score well and are a must-play if in the area.
